Health Insurance for Foreign Students, Spring semester, 2019

- All Ajou International Students are mandatorily required to purchase health insurance. If you do not insured, issuance of the academic documents like Certificate of Enrollment, Transcript and E-Class Use will be restricted.

- To purchase the health insurance, you can pay your insurance fee (65,000 KRW) when you register for the semester (when you pay tuition fees for this semester) during the Registration period.
- After that period you can also purchase using the KB insurance website. www.soskb.co.kr
But you need to deposit 65,000 won with your student ID number with a last seven digits. For details, please refer to the attached file.

- If you already purchased health insurance personally (like National Health Insurance), you don’t need to pay insurance fee, but you should submit the photocopy of Insurance Card or Insurance Contract to the Office of Graduate School(Yulgok Hall Rm305)

- Again, you may have difficulty getting the Academic Certificates if you do not purchase the health insurance during the designated period.

- You can print out the certificate of health insurance, find out about the insurance policy and claim compensation on the KB insurance website.
