| 경력 | My language teaching career began with volunteer work as an adult literacy tutor at the Trent Valley Literacy Association in Peterborough, Canada. I was later a language instructor at two private language academies, during which time I taught credit classes at the Suwon Tax College. I joined Ajou University in 1999, and have taught as a Lecture Professor for the General Studies Department (now University College) from 1999-2012, and as a non-tenure track Assistant Professor since 2012. I served as coordinator of the General English Program from 2006-2009. |
| 연구분야 | I am currently researching links between language teaching methodologies and learner motivation. In particular, I am investigating how the L2 motivational self system changes in response to form-focused instruction, and task-based language teaching respectively. |
